Birthday Reflections

Today is my birthday. I had decided to post this picture and I started to get questions about the story behind the image. So I thought I would share!

As a kid, I would force my parents to watch me perform every Friday Night without fail. I would sing and dance for about an hour while my mom, dad and brother would have no choice but to watch me entertain them. I remember asking my mom that I really needed to step up my show with a dress, makeup and some accessories. (see below)

I started to reflect on my Birthday while reminiscing - I began to realize something. Many of you know that I lost my dad over two years ago. Even though, he has been gone, he left me this priceless gift. A picture that I will treasure for the rest of my life - as a constant reminder to ALWAYS DREAM BIG!
